did you guys do all the mini missions? or most of them?
i gave up around the 5th one and just went straight on(i'm gonna guess its gonna fuck me over) or can i do them later?
i just got to my 2nd mini-mission and it is frustrating!!!
first thing i noticed, the map fogs up and it is very hard to find my destination point.
and from what i hear, you can go back to the mini-missions after beating the main storyline.
update: finally done with that 2nd sub-mission, it was hard at first until Fang's ATB charged up enough for me to use the Bahamut. woulda loved to play some more but i gotta get ready to hit the sack.
That is lovely to hear, where would I be able to get a copy of the HK release though?
Also, I have started on the minigames now, I've got the FF13 PS3, so it came in a bundle with Japanese PS3, but for some reason it only plays HK region dvds... so I am pretty confused if this was a Hong Kong version of a Japanese bundle...
I've finally hit the mini missions, I'm trying to get 5 stars on all of them, I am hoping something good will come out of it.

Anyway, thanks for the info TLL, and Mark, judging by the missions, I find that I can redo them over and over again to get free crap. Free accessories > bought accessories.
Also Free Accessories obtained via mission means more EXP points.
I like balanced characters, so I'm generally trying to get all the optima/paradigms fully leveled up before I move to the next map.
well, reading from sony's official site, there were mentions that the savefiles from the english and japanese versions of FF13 work on this chinese edition. so you can pretty much start where you left off. It's coming May 27th and you can most likely buy it in Pacific Mall (you can ask them to order it for you). I hear the suggested retail price is about $300+ HKD which is about $45 bucks in Canada. oh yes, the special goodies are plentiful too.
i've been playing the xbox360 version and not really sure if i want the ps3 version. i'm tempted to get it so i can see a comparison between the xbox360 and ps3 editions.
... my mom came home today, said that the release date got pushed back. Yesasia is no longer accepting pre-orders for FF13 Asia edition, so I am pretty depressed tbh.
I heard people already have it right now. From the pics that I've seen, it comes in a big white box bundled with the game, a white DualShock 3 controller with some FF13 related doodling on the side, a whole batch of gifts, HDMI cable and etc. For $800HKD, it's like a steal! (That's about $110 Canadian dollars.) Hard to believe that even China is getting better "special limited edition" treatment than North America!
I do see the deluxe edition sold out at yesasia right now...

but if you don't need all this stuff, u can get the alternative which just includes the dual shock 3 controller, the PSN card and the game.
