I asked bout organizers that brought amano.. they said it's up to fan expo to decide whether a charge or limit is placed on autographs =(

heh...my friend reni wong met this guy in hong kong not too long ago.

The limit is expected. They did that with Alex Ross the year before.

I'm not sure about monetary charge, though. Yoshitaka Amano is an artist. . . but he's not a comics artist. And he is a megastar, by convention standards.

I stopped going for many years. But it looks like CNAnime finally got some decent guests this year. I might actually go this time. I remember I got some Japanese manga artists cracking up when I asked them not to include fighting tournaments and other Shonen Jump cliches in their works.

And I bought all the "Big O" manga. Might bust that out for autographs too.
